Palazzo Franchetti
Venice, Italy

There are by now many technical events at the confluence of data analysis and social theories. The SINS workshop series aims to go a step beyond by asking how data analysis can be used for the larger benefit of society, including policy and humanitarian purposes. Key scientific issues of data mining in the various areas influenced by it are also discussed. This year’s workshop will take place in the magnificent setting of Palazzo Franchetti in Venice, June 8-10.

This workshop is organised in collaboration with the European Centre for Living Technology (ECLT).

Registration

The registration fee is 400 euros, and covers for the workshop lunches, coffee breaks and a social dinner.
There is some limited support for students and researchers in a difficult funding situation. Please contact the scientific organisers for more information.
