The European School of Information Theory (ESIT) is an annual educational event, organized by the IEEE Information Theory Society, for graduate students from institutes throughout Europe and beyond. The objective of the school is to provide the students with the opportunity (i) to learn from distinguished lecturers by attending long-format tutorials, (ii) to present their own work to obtain feedback and to start up collaborations, (iii) to hear about applications of information theory in industry, and (iv) to participate in a stimulating and inviting forum of scientists.

One registration covers:
– Access to all lectures
– Accommodation at CeUB facilities (bed&breakfast) from May 6th to May 11th

– Bus from the Bologna (BLQ) airport to CeUB

Accommodation:
Students will be hosted at the “Centro Residenziale Universitario di Bertinoro” (CeUB), where the school is held. All rooms are equipped with telephone, private bathroom, TV and internet connection. Single or double rooms will be assigned in order of registration. When single room accommodation will be sold out, only double room accommodation will be possible.
Shuttle bus transportation from/to Bologna airport will be provided.
On Sunday, May 6th, a shuttle bus service form Bologna airport to Bertinoro (Ceub) will be organized. The same service from Bertinoro (Ceub) to Bologna airport will be available on Friday, May 11th.
